Customer Reviews Analysis

Customer Reviews ⁣Analysis

Review 1:

This book was‌ written well and “Alkaline” eating presented here had a balance with it. The reminder for me is that this way of eating is‍ NOT all ⁤or nothing that we also need some acidic ⁣foods too. The ‌addition of feta cheese gives additional ⁤taste as‌ wells as texture and dresses up the dish in my ‍opinion ‍(only a ‌small amount is ‌needed). I⁢ also liked the symbols with ⁣each recipe ⁤that⁤ identify high alkaline‍ to low ⁢alkaline also “vegan”⁢ which is helpful. The finished dish pictures with the recipes was ⁣VERY helpful and in opinion⁢ a⁣ BIG plus. The⁤ recipes I made were delicious! ⁢You can see the experience of⁢ these chefs that is shared‍ for the rest of us without that ⁣kind of training. ⁤Great ⁢book for me to learn from that teaches you to ⁤be⁢ inventive with alkaline eating! My family enjoyed the individual personalized pizzas most ‍and really liked adding different items, broadening their usual combinations. (Probably a great way ⁤to introduce alkaline eating in small doses – smiles).

Review ‍2:

I bought this⁢ book to try and boost my immunity and relieve the⁢ terrible allergies that come with living in the Midwest. Some reviews criticized it for including dairy or for being a detox program… That’s not how the ⁣book is setup⁤ at all. It does include limited dairy like ⁢goat cheese as a‌ topping here and there,‍ but⁣ that’s in and certainly up to you to‌ exclude. It does have a detox section, ‍but that’s a suggestion if you want ‍to do a⁣ full cleanse before embarking on the alkaline diet as ⁣a lifestyle.⁢ After the detox/cleanse, you’re supposed to pick and choose from the “non-cleanse” recipes as you⁢ wish. I ⁣made meals out of this book for week for my family, and while⁤ some ⁤things looked funny, there⁤ were no complaints. After a birthday party this weekend ⁣full of cake,⁣ ice cream,‍ and everything gluten and dairy-laden,‍ I definitely felt the ‌difference⁢ the next‍ morning ⁢- full of congestion, ⁣drainage, and overall sluggishness. Those symptoms were going away while I ate on this diet, so it’s definitely worth breaking some bad habits ⁣and‍ following this book’s guidelines.

Review 3:

First, ‍this ⁣is a⁢ gorgeous⁢ book with beautiful photos of nearly every‌ recipe. I would describe it as a vegetarian/vegan cookbook‍ leaning heavily toward alkalinity. There are 125 recipes by ‍my count,‍ with about 28 ⁣that are non-vegan because they include ingredients like eggs, feta, chevre, haloumi, ‍and goat ‍or sheep’s‌ yogurt. Dairy is, of ‍course, acidic. But if you ignore those, ⁣the roughly 97 that are left are either very‍ alkaline, or lean heavily toward alkalinity. Vegan recipes are clearly‌ marked with a symbol, so⁤ they’re easy ‌to spot. Other notations are heart symbols, indicating how alkaline-forming‍ an entry is. The recipes begin with a cleanse, some juices, a breakfast section, followed by appetizers and ⁣soups, ⁣salads ‍and dressings, main dishes, snacks and breads, and ending ‌with desserts. I’ve tried ‌two entrées: Tomato and Mushroom Dial, plus Spicy Bean Berbers with Cajun Wedges and Superslaw. ⁢Both are excellent! ‍Of the soups, I loved the ⁤Tomato, ⁤Coconut,‌ and Chili ‍as well as the ⁤White ⁢Gazpacho. These recipes ⁢are both very flavorful. I haven’t tried⁢ the salads or the desserts because⁢ I ‌have plenty of good salad recipes and⁢ I don’t eat dessert. Mainly I bought⁢ this book for ⁣some alkaline main dishes and soups. These did ‍not disappoint me.
